the fact that people “don’t give a fuck about your opinion” has much less to do with the fact that you’re a girl and a lot to do with the fact that people who have been going to hardcore shows for six months-a year and don’t try to talk to people are obviously going to be looked over. there’s a group of people who have been going to shows and have been friends who go to every hardcore show on long island and if you’re not part of that group nobody cares what you have to say. whether that’s fair or not is up to you, but it has nothing to do with your gender. you act like there’s not a ton of guys whose opinions nobody cares about either.

and calling me out for being white is ridiculous. literally has nothing to do with my feelings towards rape culture or sexism. at all. it’s so fucking childish to fall back on the “you’re a white straight male so you could NEVER understand!!!!” thing

And if you’re gonna get personal with this, you could have said something to me at the show tonight instead of waiting until you had the comfort of your computer. Talk about childish.
